Short biography
Brigitte Barnard is a former midwife and a writer of Tudor history and historical fiction. She is the author of the novel The Tudor Queens’ Midwife (2025), the first of a trilogy, and of Tudor Childbirth in the Royal Court: The Midwives and Mothers (Pen & Sword History, 2026).
